It could be that the litter tray is too big - or too small - or he may not like the hood on it, or he may not like the litter itself! (Ambrose won't use the wood pellet type but he will use the grey fuller's earth sort, for instance. He also won't use a hooded tray!) You could try soaking up some urine from wherever the kitten DOES do it, and place it in the litter tray so that his scent is there......... might work! Hope so!!! A tip I picked up from working in a vets is to always have one litter tray per cat plus one extra, and try not to have the tray where people pass close by - cats prefer a bit of privacy, lol! Hope this helps!

Some cats are scared of going in a covered litter . When Finnigan first came here he would only use the open one and wanted only the corn litter.
