Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, is where I was born. It is (I think) the friendliest state capital in OZ. My husband says Darwin is! I haven't been there! To travel the Brisbane River, we have Citycats, holding 100-150 people. The river runs through the city so this is a very good way for people to travel either the city or the close suburbs. The next three pics are taken from the Citycat. Well I hope you like my pics! Next time I will try some of my garden. I actually now live on the eastern side of Brisbane, near the water, in what is called the Redland Shire. from us, Lillibet, Nikki and Marcie boy.

I'm getting red crosses! Did you upload them to muchos? I went there and found your public album, but it didn't include these pics.

(I can see the pics ok!) Those Citycats look like a great way to travel! They make a change from buses, trains and cars, etc! Lovely to see photos of where you live - am now looking forward to seeing your garden piccies!

Yes, I can see them now too.
Australia's one of the countries I'd love to visit. If I ever make it, I'll add travelling along the Brisbane River by Citycat to my itinerary.

great pics! i've never seen a 'citycat' before - what a lovely name. brisbane looks like such a huge city! similar to toronto, ontario (i lived there for several years) now, i'm a real 'chicken' i think i'll stick to my small town where buildings are only a few stories high!
lesley
glad the pics came back. i wonder where they went!
