When we were on the beach yesterday I spotted this. And thought of you.



It was about 3 feet long and very heavy, so I abandoned the idea of putting it in the boot of the car.

A purr!fect bit of garden sculpture!

I walked the beaches whilst I was on holiday in Cornwall, but didn't see one piece of driftwood. Plenty of bits of old rope, plastic boxes and floats etc. Can't see me making a sculptural statement with those, they don't have quite the same cache as wood, and besides absolutely no good as a kitty scratching post!
