It's called Westbury and is made by Denby. I collected it in the 1970s, and still have most of it intact. Unfortunately it went out of production many years ago. Thanks :-). I've a feeling Mum got hold of a few bits of Denby but I can't remember exactly what, or where she got it. She's mainly collecting Hornsea at the moment - she got a nice Hornsea jar with a wooden top, without any chips or cracks; then somebody (not her and not me either!) dropped it the minute we got home... I hate it when things like that happen. Even if she got another perfect jar, the world is still minus one perfect jar overall. Rrrgh. I don't think I'll collect china - too much potential for heartache.

That's the annoying thing about collecting china, the range only lasts so long and then if you do break anything, you're stuck. At least I'd just about got everything I needed in the Westbury range and was only planning to get a couple of spare plates in each size when I discovered it had been discontinued. I've been pretty careful, but even so, the odd plate has been smashed over the years and some of the jugs have are a little chipped, but considering it's been in use for nearly 30 years remarkably little has been broken beyond repair so far.
