Excellent! More shops SHOULD have animals in their shops....and to hell with all this nonsense about health & hygiene I've had animals since I was around 4 years old and the only diseases I've had have been ones caught from humans!!! There's an underwear/swimwear shop in Alnwick Market Place and the lady who runs it has THE most adorable black pug called Dexter He's such a clown and everyone greets him before the owner ;D

Why is he called 'The pinner cat'? If you haven't worked it out yet (and I wouldn't expect any non-Londoner's to know) Pinner is a part of London quite near Wembley PS I think all charity shops and book shops should have a shop's cat. After all someone has to be in charge :-)

Took some stuff into Henry's shop today, but there was no sign of him.... He wasn't near the church or in the car park either! Maybe he's on holiday!

Yes, Henry was 'working' again today when I went in, but his pose is always the same - curled up on the counter! He briefly opened his eyes to acknowledge me, did a stretch and then went back to his job of sleeping and looking handsome! x
