Deb ordered Bailey a nice beaded collar from a woman in Arizona who makes and sells them direct and thru eBay...she has a variety of styles and colors available and will custom-make one to your request....! Ann had seen a pic of Bailey in his and asked that I post it here for everyone.... The site is called Billie's Cat Jewelry and is located at: www.webspawner.com/users/billiescatjewelry/You can also see many styles being modeled (including Bailey!) here: www.webspawner.com/users/catjewelrycomments/Makes him look rather handsome, we think....! I've never seen collars like this in the UK. They're really pretty and Bailey certainly suits his. I'll check out the site although I can't see Spock taking kindly to one. Wouldn't fit in with his carefully maintained urban terrorist image! Dracs on the other hand........ now there's a thought.
Keep the pictures coming Miles, Bailey is getting a fan club on this Board too. You can certainly sign me up as a member.

I just love that coller! only a siamese could pull off wearing something so ellegent and lavish. Is it heavy? i could immagine Bailey finding it strange for a while. Does he play with it? You could just look at that picture all day...!

When we first put it on him (he'd never had a collar on before), he did a few backflips, somersaults, etc....after we convinced him how handsome and regal he looked, he calmed down...we had to tell him that as the Crown Prince, he needed to wear the Crown Jewels....that seemed to satisfy him and he allowed us to take the pics as he sat on his "throne" (it's a cat tree, but we're not telling him that...!) regally surveying his "kingdom" and his "subjects" (his latest term for US....!)... No, it's not heavy at all, and he does wear it when he plays.... Miles

Be ready for a young boy appearing in front of you with a paw that's somehow got tangled in the collar, confident in the knowledge that you'll sort everything out for him. Which of course you will.
I'm keeping the boys well away from any of your pictures that include Bailey's cat tree - sorry throne. I'd never hear the end of it. (Theirs is pathetic by comparison.)

I'm a trusted old cat called Scargs who's groomed to be classy and elegant I DO try to look after my fur and practise my look SO demur but to daddy I fear I am lost as he stares at that colourful box in his room seemingly endlessly, daily and sighs at that newcomer Bailey.

Ann, That's one of the nice things about these collars - the design is so simple that there really isn't any way he can tangle himself up in it....I'm sure he'll try, tho...! Miles

Jaki,
Would it be harness?
I think, just this once, we could make an exception to the sexy pictures rule in order to see Spook in all her grandeur!

I've just been to the website from which Bailey's collar came. It's well worth a visit. There are some beautiful collars there and they're very reasonably priced too.

Ann, dont you think Anthony would look so handsome in that collar (mind you hed probable be frightened of it) Anthony is a rescued siamese boy who is very frigtened by the least thing (he gets upset if you change the curtains or vaccum!) Hes a gorgeous cat but not like a typical siamese. I think ann posted a picture of him on the message board somewhere.

Lisa, Yes, I think it would really suit Anthony. He's such a compact little boy and a real beauty. Spock is altogether too butch, his street cred would be zero if he went out in one! For those who missed it, this is Anthony. (Lisa, if you have any other pictures of him, send them down and I'll put them online.) Ann
