Hi, I'm another "spill-over" from the SICC list in the US.
I live in Portland Oregon, with my lovely cat Gracie. She is named after one of my heroes Gracie Allan of Burns and Allan the comedy team.
Ann was good enough to invite me to join this list. I'm looking foward to reading what everyone has to say about everything. People who love cats are the best.

Welcome Vicki, I'm glad you've joined us. We're still a small Board, but there are already a lot of very entertaining messages. I hope you'll become a regular visitor if you can find the time - I know how very busy you are with your studying at the moment.

Hi Linda and Miles, No flames here not even sparks, I am totally fireproof.  I wish I could post a pix of Gracie but I don't have a scanner and I think you need one to send pictures. As you can probably guess, I'm not very computer savvy. Just picture a very lovely fluffenator, sealpoint, with a couple of extra tonail beds on each front paw(sort of resembles cather's mits) and there you have Gracie. |

You're right Vicki, you need to have either a digital camera or a scanner. Is there a neighbour, friend or anyone at college perhaps with a scanner who would scan some pictures of Gracie for you and put them onto a floppy? If you can get that far, we'll certainly help with the rest.

Actually my friend Janet got a new fancy Mac computer for her birthday complete with scanner, digital camers and all the bells and whistles. She promised she would help me scan some pictures just as soon as she learns how to do it.
