Hello there...I'm new here, by kind invitation of Ann - a friend from another board....a bit about myself: I live in the northeast USA with my wife Debbie and our new meezer kitten Bailey, who came to live with us this past Friday....we're enjoying him immensely, as you might imagine...! He's our first meezer together - Deb's first, I had 2 growing up as a child....we both have children - all grown and gone now, so it's just the 3 of us....we were very fortunate that we were able to vist Bailey at the breeder often from almost the day he was born, and it really helped us all in getting him comfortable with his new home. After 4 days, I am happy to report that although we have turned over ownership of our apartment to him, he has graciously consented to us continuing to live here, as long as the supply of toys and food never runs out....in return we get purrs, headbutts and more loving than we ever imagined, to say nothing of the endless laughter at his antics...! Hoping to get to know you all...! Thanks, Miles

Miles, Debbie and Bailey, you're very welcome on this Board and I'll look forward to hearing how life with Bailey progresses. He's obviously not letting extreme youth delay his training programme and has already established total domination!
I know there are one or two other Board members with Siamese kittens or young cats, so I hope it leads to some entertaining threads. I also hope it doesn't make the rest of us too envious!!

Psssst Bailey!
Keep it quiet from Miles and Debbie, but when you've learnt to use the keyboard, get in touch and we'll give you some tips on training humans!

PS Tip number one. You're supposed to watch and learn when Miles is at the keyboard and you're sitting on his shoulder, not fall asleep!

Hello Miles and Debbie! Nice to see you here! There are a couple of months to go yet, but at about 6 months Bailey is going to hit the feline equivalent of the 'terrible 2's' Tia is going through that stage at the moment. No matter where I put anything she finds it and throws it onto the floor. I brought home a 4ft high fan palm today and she climbed it! Yesterday she discovered the mouse pointer on the computer screen! (sigh) I wouldn't part with her though....

Hi to everybody from the Chestnut Grove Cats, we are enjoying reading all about all of you. We are an odd mixture of (just cats) 2 of us Misty & Muffin are older and well behaved , at least thats what the rest of us are told, but we think we do some pretty cool things -like clearing off a table, hiding all the pens or pencils that are not put away.(we don't want the dogs to get them & chew them up!)Harley gives Misty & Muffin their exercise by chasing them all over the house. Mom says to Muffin "Doesn't that remind YOU of something". as she used to chase Minnie in the same way! Finnigan likes to climb up Mom or Dad's leg, all claws out! I, MaggieMay try to supervise all this and keep peace in the house!Mom says I am getting fat!! Maybe I am but I am so glad we are not still homeless and out in the cold like last winter. It is just over a year that we came here to live. And today is the day Mom put down as Harley & Finnigan's birthday.
