what a good mommy am i!!

i felt so sorry for the poor kitties. mommy and daddy have no money for fancy cat beds!
however, some days i'm clever (not often enough though!) and i thought oooh i will just make a bed! ok, fine. i had an older wool blanket that they love; stuffing inside a pillow case (one my husband loved and i hated...oops too bad for him).
further, i thought oh boy - i'll add catnip too *because you know it's extra washable with catnip in there! a few hours and a few fights with the sewing machine later....
[a href=""][/a] notice i even sewed two *one under the furry bodies* hearts - also made of wool (and no, i'm not sure why i had a red hat to begin with - now i don't! now, thankfully they actually sleep on it. of course it has to be on the couch. real pets don't sleep on floors, do they? coco on the right; and with her mouth open as usual, thats cleo.

You did a nice job of the cat bed, homemade ones are much nicer.
I always make them for our cats and make stuffed toys for the dogs.

We think Lesley did a great job making you the cat bed. Ann's never made anything like that for us. But then we've always said we were deprived cats. We have to make do with her duvets. For some inexplicable reason she started to cover them with old sheets a while ago, but we soon got round that.



This is us having our afternoon nap.

We do have our own personal playmats, Rita and Lisa in Falkirk made them specially for us. They're handy in the evenings when Ann puts the fire on.
