this is a photo of my pretty girl cleo. (if this post worked)  what is a "target" blank thing? is that what ann meant by the catsup address - if so - hey, how do i do that. |

Congratulations! You did it!! What a beauty Cleo is!
The text that showed up is generating a link. If you mouseover the picture, you'll see the hand appear which signifies that you can link through to another page from it. When the text is actually visible next to the picture it means there's no linking address been added. (That's what the "_blank" signifies - the address field is blank.) If you click on the picture when the "target="_blank"> is visible you just get sent to an error message. I've now added the address of the Catsup Home Page, so if anyone clicks on the picture, they'll get sent to that.
If you click modify, then look again at the address of the picture of Cleo, you'll see how I changed it.
As far as I can tell, there's no way of posting a picture from webphotos and getting rid of the link.
Not being a techie, it took about 4 hours of going back and forth to ProBoards Support Board and the Wunderkind Craig before I understood it. Between us, we turned my thread into a "Hot Topic" in the process. He was really patient and I continue to be very impressed with their support. (If anyone tried to ring me last night, they'd have been out of luck!)
I hope that all makes sense!

What an amazing picture and what a gorgeous cat!
Thanks for the extra info about posting photos. I post from my webpage too and it's much easier, but for members who don't have a website, sites like webphotos are a good alternative. I know there are already at least 3 members who use them.

computer stuff? uh oh. you lost me. but i think maybe it is one of those things i don't have to worry about. i'm just happy to post a pic.
however, if i do run in to trouble i know who to talk to...
hee hee. iggy and bowie! they must have learnt a thing or two having a talented computer meowmy! ;D

You're right! The main thing is that people can now post pictures from the webphotos website.
Christina may live to regret telling us she's a computer programmer, it's not just you who now knows who to go to!!

Ann, Yes...I'm afraid you may only be TOO correct....! Deb and I are purposefully keeping Bailey away from pictures and films of parachuting, bungie-jumping, mountain climbing (he already beat us on THAT one...!), high-diving (tho we have to watch him when he's at the top of his cat tree...he gets that look in his eye.."aaahhh, I could make that jump to the floor EASILY...."...) auto racing, etc. etc. ..... ..
