Steve:
Beautiful pics. I especially like the Christmas card! I tried that the first year I had Monkey. He was just about as pleased with the idea as yours seems to be!

I can't recall ever visiting Colchester, so it was interesting to see pictures of the area. The countryside and the lake look lovely. But what are the buildings?

Nice pictures, Rambo! I have only visited Colchester once but I know it is an interesting historic town. I beleive there is a substantial Roman history there too.
We have a lot of Tudor buildings in this part of Kent (I'll have to get the camera out) including my 'lottery-dream house' a mile down the road.
I'm looking forward to seeing more pictures of your part of Essex!

Thanks for the descriptions of the pictures Steve - I had the first one down as a church. How wrong can you be?!
I love the look of Tudor buildings, but they're pretty thin on the ground round here. Roman remains are something we do have plenty of however. Fascinating.

Hi Steve A trip down memory lane for me as I worked in Colchester for a while - great to see the sites so clearly again. Love the card, Merry Christmas to one and all Marjorie
