Hmmm? Where the heck is Jamestown, you ask? Well, there are a few in the US. The one that I am referring to (and btw, it's also my home) is in California. It's about an hours drive from Yosemite National Park, which some of you have probably heard of. It's in the foothills and once in a while, we even get snow!
But, that's not why I'm posting this. I'm am the 'new kid on the block'. My name is Denise and the two loves of my life are Monkey Face and Tiffany Marie. We co-exist as a loving family in this wonderful little town of Jametown.
I'm a writer and Monkey Face is a handsome Maine Coon who is my muse. Tiffany, who you'll all come to know later, is a cheeky Siamese.
Well, enough about me. I'm excited about talking to each and every one of you!

Hello Denise and welcome!
Your cats sound lovely! I have three tabbies, called Bella, Liffey and Pie who are 3 years old.
Catsup is a wonderful place to share ideas, talk about our cats (and other things). Everyone here is friendly, so you will soon feel right at home here!

Hi Denise,
Welcome to the Board from me and the boys. I hope you'll enjoy it here.
The only Jamestown I'd heard of was the very old one that goes back some 400 years. I think that's a different one from yours.
California always sounds a great place to live, and I think you're our first member from that state, although certainly not the first from the US I'm happy to say. Once you get the hang of posting pictures, I'd enjoy seeing some of your area.

Ann: Our Jamestown is not quite that old. It was started during the Gold Rush as a mining town. It's a very quaint little town with an interesting background....it even has a few legends with ghosts! It's the kind of town that has a market instead of a supermarket and everyone knows everyone else. When you are in trouble, someone is always there. I love it here, unfortunately I have no pics, but will take some and get them on to share. I believe that I have some pictures of Yosemite, which is about an hours drive away. If I do, I certainly will share as it's a wonderful place to visit.
