For many of us, the holiday season is now here. I am sure that many members and guests will be visiting some interesting places as part of their holidays. It would be lovely to share some holiday memories and pictures on this board.
I am off to explore southern England this summer, so I promise to take some snaps and post them here.

Maria,
If you get as far as Dorset on your travels you will find some breathtaking scenery right on the coast around the Weymouth/Portland area, and beautiful countryside and coast to the west, on into Devon and Cornwall.
PS Kent is beautiful too - most of my relatives live there, but I haven't been down that way for years now.

Catnip - I am back from my holiday now and yes, Dorset is very lovely!! We also visited Somerset, Wiltshire and Hampshire. I hope to have some pictures to show you all soon. I have been to some of the areas before and although we didn't get as far as Devon and Cornwall this time, I have been there in the past and it is wonderful.
(I am also pleased that you like Kent as that is where I live!!)
