Wherever I am and whatever I'm doing, I need a cup of tea or coffee at regular intervals throughout the day. That includes when I'm working at the computer.
The "Show us where you live" thread has proved to be so popular that I thought it would be a good idea to make it a more permanent fixture.
All members are cordially invited to add a thread with pictures of the part of the world in which they live. If you're not able to post pictures, just tell us a bit about it instead. In addition, but not absolutely obligatory, why not add a favourite recipe?
Then, when we need a break from the Main Board, or life in general for that matter, we can pop into the Coffee Shop, see some wonderful views from the windows and sample what I hope will be the International Cuisine.

Jayne, If you have some pics, go to a photo hosting site like WebPhotos.com: www.care2.comOpen an account (it's free..!), upload your pics, and then read Ann's post on the general board - "How to add photos from a "WebPhotos" album".....there's step-by-step instructions on how to do it, and if you need help, there are many here (myself included!) that can give you a hand...! Looking forward to seeing your pics...! Miles

Ann,
I'm not an expert on posting pictures. I still need to learn how to do it.
I live in Santa Maria, on the Central Coast of California. It is a beautiful place with nice weather and great people.

Just found this part of the board. Being a new member I am still finding my way around. We live in Bahrain. Nice and sunny if not a tad cold at the moment. Still yet to know what its like in the summer as we only arrived in late November. It does not matter how many times Ann trys to explain how to post pics I still can not get it. If I ever do I will post a pic of our house in Bahrain.

Ann, may years ago I lived in Soquel. Are you familiar with that area? I'm sure you must be. I also lived in Santa Clara for awhile. I now live in the desert and not loving it.

Hi Katnana, welcome to the Board. No, I'm afraid I don't know California at all. The only time I was in the US was many years ago visiting friends who lived in the Miami area. Do you have any pictures you can show us?
