Here's Spook on her perch. This photo is taken looking north over the Bay of Sant Antoni towards Cabo Nono in the distance. We live on the south side of the bay on Platja Pinet (Pine Beach)in a place called Cala de Bou (Cala = Cove) in the parish of Sant Agusti in the District of Sant Josep.
To the south of us are the "mountains" including Eivissa's highest peak Sa Talaia and to the west, out to sea, there are lots of tiny islands, over which the sun sets famously and spectacularly.
All the names used above are the Catalan names and not the Spanish ones familiar to holiday makers. During the Franco dictatorship the use of Catalan was prohibited here, so now in our new democracy, we've reverted back to the native tongue. I don't understand a single word of it and Spook is and eivissencan cat!!
