We had a fairly clear day yesterday, so I took some more photos of my (office) view of Manhattan. This is the view from my desk, from 42nd Street all the way south: The other side of the office, the north view: The top of the Chrysler Building, that's East: Traffic on 5th Avenue: West view of Times Square: All of this of course, looks amazing in the dark!

Those are fabulous pictures, Gaby. They are very professional and are some of the best I have seen of NY. I like the close up of the Chrysler Building, but the best has got to be the view of 5th Avenue. The cars and people look tiny and the yellow of the cabs really show up against the grey of the building and the road. What a great view you have from you have from your office! Thank you for sharing the pics. I enjoyed looking at them. Maria (The view from my office wouldn't be the same I'm afraid....brick wall!!!)

After 20 years of living in big cities, I have come to the humble realization that it takes more courage to live in a small town.
And yes, the photo of 5th Avenue traffic is my favorite as well.
I will have never have a view like this again, there'll be a different view, just not this one. My first job had a view of Central Park and that was another blessing...you should have seen it in twilight in the first snow!
What I long for now is a view of the ocean. The very same ocean that I look at every single day...it's just there, right past the Statue of Liberty...
