I was in Seaton Sluice this afternoon and stopped by the tiny church where my great grandparents are buried. It was built in 1102 and was originally the family church for Seaton Delaval Hall nearby. It's now a public church, but it's the smallest one I've ever seen.

That is beautiful Ann. How many does it seat, I would imagine only about a dozen at most?

A few more than that I think Chris, but certainly not many. It's amazing that it's still standing after nearly 1,000 years!

It's a sweet, beautiful old church, Ann. How nice to have a family connection to it. I adore ancient churches for their history and their architecture and this one looks like it's a gem. Maria
