I have noticed a couple of members here discussing recipes in the past so I thought it a good place to ask....
Would anybody be interested in submitting a cake recipe or two for a new project? Full credits will be given.
It isnt my project but I am trying to help somebody out.

Here is one for you its fat free and sugar free
Christmas cake or everyday cake
Ingredients 6 ounces brown self-raising flour 2 “ ground almond 1 “ desiccated coconut 2 ” teaspoons mixed spice 2 “ glace cherries 4 “ dates 4 “ apricots 1 pound mixed fruit just over half a pint water 2 tablespoons orange juice
Method Soak the fruit in liquid overnight. Add dry ingredients, mix well. Bake in 2 pound loaf tin(or round) for approx one and a half hours. Gas mark 3 (cover for last half hour). Can use any mixture of dried fruit. If using as a Christmas cake, when cold you can spoon over rum, sherry or brandy on the base of the cake. Wrap in foil, keep in air tight tin .Would probably freeze.
Its gorgeous the fruit makes it sweet.

a cake is a cake Lesley, completely up to you, quick, fancy, special, for an occassion, anything you like. I forgot to mention, you need a name for your cake or a title - Such as .... 'Tabitha's Suagr Free Christmas'. Call it or name it anything you like. I just spoke to the person I am buildig a site for and they suggest that fancy or elaborate cake names might get more views but it's completely up to you. Thanks for your recipe Tabitha, I will definitely send that to him and I am certai he will be grateful. I will also let you know when his website is ready so that you can take a wander to see what other people have submitted.

I'll switch this thread to the Coffee Shop Board. We actively encourage members to put interesting recipes on that Board, so it'll fit in nicely.
