Four places I'd rather be right now (places I'd love to visit):
1. Greece 2. London, England (to the 2012 Olympics to meet Roger Bannister. I would also like to see all the places Roger Bannister lived, to see where he grew up. Yes, I'm just a little obsessed with him. He is so fascinating). 3. Various places where SICC and Catsup members live, to meet them. 4. I don't have a fourth. Several of these emcompass multiple venues.
I hope to accomplish some of these goals together eventually.

Yes, Edda! We have a (very) small sports centre here named after him.....it was probably quite a big one when it was first built about 40 years ago, but now looks very small even in comparison to our local leisure centre. I guess not many people were that interested in going to places like that then. It is used as atheletics training for school children, I believe! Lesley T xx

I'm really enjoying these posts! Edda - As you know I love Greece, but I do find that reading about it is a pretty good substitute for being there. Have you seen the 'What are you reading' thread on the general board? It mentions 'The Island', a story set in Crete. Marion is reading it and she's given a good insight into the book. I'm going to read it next and it might be one you'd enjoy too.
Here's four places I'd love to visit: 1 Pompeii 2 Rhodes 3 Macchu Pichu 4 French alps (Plus lots of others too)
