There was an article in the Daily Mail earlier this week about soya milk. Apparently a group of women, all "of a certain age", who had put on the inevitable extra layer of fat that comes of being "of a certain age", drank a 250ml soya milk shake every day for 3 months. At the end of it, they hadn't lost any weight, but they had lost inches off waist and hips. There was no change to the control group. The findings were that some of the constituents of soya milk actually break down the "new" fat that forms.
As someone who now has 4 extra inches on both waist and hips that weren't there 2 or 3 years ago, I immediately went out and bought some soya milk shakes. I'm only on day 3, so it's too soon to tell if it's going to work, but watch this space.
Anyone else want to join in and start a Catsup experiment?

I've no idea! I was very lazy and just bought it ready mixed. Unfortunately the only flavour available in my supermarket was chocolate, which isn't a favourite of mine.

I quite like soya milk in coffee but the taste is a bit 'metallic' to drink neat. I do eat soya products and shakes and desserts are also quite nice. I'd give it a try though. I'm in!

Well I've been on it for about 2 weeks now and haven't noticed any difference at all, but I suppose it's early days yet.
