The following email went out to each of the members. This is the Board to check, for future reviews.
Hi there,
As those of you who are regular visitors know, the Message Board has been picking up momentum recently. Two or three weeks ago, it reached the point where I decided to disable new sign ups as it was difficult for me and my fellow moderators to keep up with all the new posts that were appearing daily. I already have a waiting list.
In a weeks time, I'm planning to review all the members. I will assume that, anyone who hasn't made a post since 1st April 2003, ie just over a year ago, is no longer interested in continuing their membership.
So, if you haven't posted anything on any of the Boards for a year or more, but wish to remain a member, get yourself along to www.catsup.co.uk/message.htm before Sunday 18th April and add a reply to a thread! One post is all that is needed from you.
All Boards, with the exception of the Reading Room Board, can be viewed by guests as well as members and there are no plans to change this, so if you simply like looking, you'll still be able to, whether you're a member or not.
Membership reviews will take place on a regular basis from now on, but future announcements, with relevant dates, will be on the Board itself.
Looking forward to seeing you all on the Boards.
