Last word line 7 is 'Heal' So could that be 'Falls ----- heal' ?

I'm wondering if it's the end of a 2 syllable word. Conceal keeps coming into my head, but I can't work out how it fits.
I'll copy and post the pic onto this page so we don't have to keep looking back.

I think it's probably time I found the solution, what do you think?
(I do think we've done remarkably well between the two of us!)

Please do Ann, I'm at a loss now as to where to go from here, and as you have done the most difficult bits I think you should take the most credit

Took me about an hour to find which volume I'd used - there are 7 or 8 that all contain puzzle poems. I finally got there and have filled all the blanks in the version on page 1 of the thread.
I was quite daunted to read that they had lots of correct versions and in order to sort out a pecking order, were down to looking at every little thing. I can't quote the entire report as it's very long, but one bit is:
"Of the twelve papers still remaining, only five were found to give the hyphen in pent-up; these naturally took the first place."
And,
"Never before has there been such a keen competition for the prizes, and failure caused by the omission of a hyphen or even of an apostrophe is surely no disgrace."
I think I can safely say that we wouldn't have stood a chance!
Want to try another?

I'm up for the challange if you are Your right though, I think we missed more than just the hyphen  I don't think we did too badly, those ladys could spend 24/7 on these things and had nothing better to do, where as we are trying to fit these in in between work, hobbies and life!

We're at a huge disadvantage as we have 21st century mindsets and have to attempt to take on 19th century ones. When you take that into consideration, I think we do extremely well.
I'll get another one ready and post it.
