As I don't have any new photos of the cats at the moment I thought I would show you a couple of my other obsession :lol: I took up orchids when I gave up smoking, I think orchids are fractionally cheaper and a lot less damaging to my health! This is a Dendrobium nobile And this is a Masdevallia Hybrid This is one of my hardy orchids from last year a Dactylorhiza fuchsii and it will grow well in most gardens. Hope you like the diversity and next time I promise to show you some cat photos ;D

They're stunning Cathrin.
My sole orchid has sprung a new leaf recently, so I'm hopeful of more flowers in due course. I love the way the flowers bloom for weeks.

Sorry for the late reply Ann, had a busy few days One of my plants has been in flower for nearly 6 months! I think it is another reason I like them. Then again one of my plants has flowers on it that are smaller than the eraser on the top of a pencil, they flower consecutively along the stem and end up looking like a little string of orange stars.
