For me there's no question, it's summer. I love being able to be outside without needing several layers of clothing, pottering in the garden, walking on the beach, sitting in the patio, going bilberry picking - the list is endless.

Well I really wanted to vote for Spring and Autumn, I love spring becuase of the new growth in the garden and the excitement of the new year, but Autumn is something special as the world goes to sleep ... The colours are richer but softer on the eye with bright reds of berrys and Robins, and it is not too hot for me, I can't take heat. I also love the crispness of a frosty winter morning with snow on the ground in bright sunshine walking with a dog in the woods. The only season I don't like is summer as I said before, I don't do heat

I'm the same as Cathrin - heat just KILLS me So whilst I love all seasons (apart from heatwave summers!!! ) I voted for autumn because it's an exciting time of year with returning winter birds along the Northumberland coastline, cooler days and the return of days when I can wrap up and go for a nice bracing walk along the coastline ;D Walking a dog on a frosty morning is one of life's greatest, and simplest, pleasures

I love Autumn or Fall because I have many spring and summer allergies, plus it's very hot in the desert where I live. I also like cold weather clothing the best.

Aaaaah bliss The sticky heat has gone and been replaced by cooler days - still warm but pleasantly so ;D I can go for walks now without ending up lathered and needing a shower to cool myself down ;D I think we are heading into autumn now as some trees are starting to slightly change colour and beginning to gently shed a few leaves and the swifts have gone! We had loads flying around Alnwick on Saturday but by Sunday they had all gone And another giveaway.....I unpacked a box at work the other day and it had *whisper* christmas cards in it!!! I booked them into the computer, priced them up and put them BACK into their box as it is FAR too early yet for them to see the light of day

Autumn is my favorite time of year; the bright blue skies, goldenrod waving in the breeze in all its golden splendor, along the sides of a country lane. Walking through the apple orchards inhaling the sweet scent of apples. The crisp morning air and the glorious trees dressed in their autumn colors of crimson, gold and shades of pink and orange. Taking drives through the countryside where fields are dotted with bright, orange pumpkins. I speak of New England as I remember it.
Alas and alack I am not there but in the South (Georgia, USA) where our seasons are Summer, Summer, Summer and Christmas. The leaves are a dull, tired, green right now and when in November they finally do turn color they are very muted.
As I type this the temperature outside is 90 degrees. Although our Fall seasons are not spectacular our Springs are absolutely gorgeous and my second favorite season.

in the South (Georgia, USA) where our seasons are Summer, Summer, Summer and Christmas. Bobbie That would do nicely, although 90F is probably just a tad too hot even for me!

Can I vote for all of them please? ;D I love a walk on a crisp winter day. I adore all the spring flowers sprouting. Summer I love in the garden when it's hot. Autumn I love for the smells and sights of gorgeous leaf colour. Sorry, I'm greedy!
