I know I've been away for a long time but I haven't had a computer for a year. It's taken me 45 minutes to log in again too. For those who may remember me, I have 4 cats at present, Pepper and Seraphina and two cream Burmese boys, Bailey and Merlyn. I've been on Facebook since July and this has been keeping me busy - not only that but since doing most of my computing via android I found I can buy books on Google (sigh). I want to adopt a little chocolate point girl looking to be rehomed due to her humans changed circumstances. She has a little black fur friend and we would take that one too. My heart goes out to that poor little black cat. People are saying yes, they want to take the Siamese but no one has mentioned what's going to happen to the other poor little soul. All I know is that it's an elderly cat. I think they would both be heartbroken if they were separated. I don't think I'm being soft, do you?

hi Linda, good to see you again, you'll find quite a few new threads since you were last here, some cat related, some not. Do feel free to reply to any of them that interest you.
I can't understand why black cats have suddenly become the ones no one wants. I think they're gorgeous. Alexander, the most special cat I ever knew was a sleek, all black half Siamese and I wouldn't have had him any other way. I know the Cat Rescue Charities say they always struggle to rehome their black kittens. When did they suddenly change from being "lucky black cats" into unlucky ones?

I think quite a few people *can* be rather precious about pure bred in animals in general. We all knew Ed had two cats but not one person even asked what would became of the other one. Ed is going to phone me in a day or two. I do hope he chooses me to take his cats.

Hi Linda.... nice to see you about again. Hope you get to adopt the ones you want...I know you will spoil them rotten! I can't understand why black cats can't find homes either... the black moggie we had way back was the sweetest, gentlest little cat you would meet. She was with us for 19 years and very missed when she died. She was an RSPCA kitten who made her mark (literally) when she decided to try and climb up the chimney when we first had her...... You never forget your previous pets. xxx
