Last weekend I was still in Oberaudorf. Kotio's owner Shirley had arrived on the Thursday for a few days and the weather was gorgeous. On the Friday we cycled alongside the banks of the River Inn down to Kufstein, just over the border and were able to sit outside one of the cafes with out coffee and cake. On the Saturday we went on the chairlift in the village up to what's called Hocheck. The first pic is a view of Oberaudorf from the top of the chairlift.
This is the view from the opposite direction, looking further up the mountain. That's Shirley sitting there and I think the mountain behind her is the one called Brunnstein.
Last Sunday we took the bikes to a lake called Walchsee, about 10 miles from Oberaudorf and again, over the border in Austria. This of course meant more coffee stops.

As I sit here with the central heating on, looking at the rain lash down outside, it's hard to believe that less than a week ago I was able to bask in the sun!
(P.S. Kotio was fine, he was staying with Shirley's parents whilst we were both away.)
