She certainly isn't looking ill in that picture, more like a fighting fit Siamese! Good to see her looking so much better, let's hope that's a really good sign.

Oh she is looking soooo much better than she has done for a week or so - much more 'with it'....being dehydrated didn't help her at all! Spoke too soon....just had an up-date for today (Thurs): Saffi has 'dipped' again and they are quite worried about her as she has been salivating, listless and refusing to eat. Her kidney readings are now normal, which is good, but they don't know what's wrong ...she has to have a CT scan tomorrow

OH NO...sorry to hear about that news but maybe she's not hungry? Those pics she looks like she's getting better, hope they'll find out what's wrong with her. It's tough time for you and Saffi, stay strong and take care.
Hugs....

CT scan was clear, so they did a spinal tap while she was still under to check for menigitis That's treatable but takes ages for them to get back to normal and if Saffi DOES have it, it's likely it will re-occur due to her low immune system, so treatment may not be a kind option for her. Getting results tomorrow. I couldn't visit her today as her scan kept being put back and she had it late afternoon. Visiting tomorrow morning...hope I can give her a cuddle. xxx

Oh no, just as you thought you could breathe a sigh of relief. How strange that she can go from eating well and looking really fit, to refusing to eat and looking listless all in the space of a few hours. At least it's good news about her kidneys, now we have to hope the spinal tap doesn't show anything untoward.

NO results in yet - have to wait till Monday. They let me see her today and she didn't look very good when she was brought in. She looked better for some cuddles and tummy rubs. I suppose she is as comfortable as possible with a feeding tube in her neck and a cannula in her paw....poor poppet! Even though I have 2 other 'lovelies' the house seems so empty without her. I was looking on the wall of the vet place at the photos people have sent in of their pets and had to do a double take...really thought I must have sent a photo in of Shammi and Mickala...they have their doubles there, and in the same pose too..the only thing that made me realise it WASN'T them was the furniture they were sitting on! x

Is she still off her food? I hope you can take her home on Monday for both your sakes!
From the look on her face, I'd say she's plotting her revenge. I think you might pay for leaving her at the vet's and I'm not talking money!

She was under general anaesthetic yesterday, so was feeling sick anyway, hence the feeding tube, but I don't think she's eaten of her own accord yet. Just want her home...we're both going down with separation anxiety!!!! She just looked sooooo depressed! xx

I'm sure she will perk up when she sees you. She probably misses her family. Being in the hospital is no fun. Hopefully you will see an improvement tomorrow. Certainly she will perk up when she sees you. Roxie and I are sending fingers and paws crossed.

Always thinking and waiting for your updates about Saffi and thinking about you as well, I know that being separated from other two cats and you would depressed her. She miss you all so bad that's the fact, if she will see you tomorrow she would be happy. Cats like humans, they can actually depressed and would affect them, that's what they told me when Beauty missing Belle. My heart aches for you and Saffi, be strong, keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
Hugs.....

On top of everything that's happening to her, she's probably missing you as much as you're missing her and that won't help either of you. I really hope the news is better when you see her tomorrow. As the others have said, I'm sure seeing you will help to reassure her.

At the start of the visit Saffi's results are generally good - they suspect a bit of pancreatitis which is treatable with a/b. I was devastated when I went today as she looked soooooo ill and depressed and they were very worried about her. By the end of the visit, she had perked up, was walking about and had eaten a little food - more hopeful. She's missing being at home. They saw the difference and are trying to get her discharged on wedn if poss as they think it will do her good psychologically. She will still have the feeding tube in though, so she will have to go back for checks unless I can get them to discharge her and let my own vet check her. They might not want to do that tho because they still are not sure what stopped her eating...hope she comes home soon. At the end of the visit: I think she is homesick! By the way - I'm finding it much easier just to put photos on via 'attachment' - you can click the thumbnails and make them larger. Easier than using photobucket or similar! x
