For reasons best known to itself I have been unable to log on to here since my last post. The silly thing kept telling me I was using the wrong name and it didn't want my user name. This is the only one I have ever used. Tonight it auto filled and I was straight on.
Ah well!
I was going to send a Christmas message so that was one reason I couldn't. The other reason, I was in hospital. In Boston. This is a 50 mile round trip from Skegness where we had gone on holiday. I was given antibiotics for a chest infection on 22nd December. A week later it was no better and I'd got pneumonia as well. We both had a wonderful holiday NOT! The cats enjoyed it more than we did. I don't actually remember much of it. I managed - just -to cook dinner on Christmas day. Went back to Skegness a&e boxing day and was transferred to Boston Pilgrims hospital. I spend four hours waiting for an ambulance tranfer, got there at 10 pm and remained in a corridor until about 3pm when
I was transferred to a cubicle. Not even a glass of water. Malcolm had to stand behind the stretcher, no seats. He left at 6am when someone finally said I was being admitted. They found me a bed at 10am. Don't get ill this winter if you can help it!!
If you were wondering, yes I got the cats. Poppy is a little chocolate love. She was sitting on my knee within a day. Cubs is thoroughly bad tempered when he wants but he loves fuss and food. He even growls at Poppy because she likes to curl up with him.
