Rox In A Box

I bought a new litter box for Roxie. She liked the litter box but she liked the box it came in even better. That's what I get for upending it "just to see" if she would crawl into it. Now it's her permanent home and I have this large unattractive box in my living room. Why wasn't she as happy about the expensive cat bed I bought her awhile back? She used it two or three times and then ignored it so I finally gave it away. Cats!

Oh well, at least now maybe I will be able to reclaim my comfy chair now that her majesty has found a new place to sleep.

That's cats for you, anything that was never intended for them in the first place is infinitely more desirable than anything custom made!

I'm sure there must be an unwritten law about it somewhere. If there isn't, perhaps we should create one, how does "Roxie's Law" sound?

I love "Roxie's Law." Heaven forbid I should break it by removing the box.
