There's no one more determined than a cat who thinks it's high time you stop whatever you're doing and pay him some attention. I was writing a letter last night when a pair of boys decided enough was enough. This is Dracs. Then Spock joined in. (This isn't brilliant, but I didn't have a great deal of time to line the pair of them up.) www.annied22.btinternet.co.uk/sandd/letter.m1vThis morning I began the crossword, when.... www.annied22.btinternet.co.uk/sandd/crossword.m1vFamiliar to any of you?! Very familiar Ann! Although, is Dracs really interested in that rather nice looking glass of red??
Liffey is the worst culprit. If I am on the computer he decides it's time to come and see me. He starts by sitting on the mouse, then he wants to play with my hands and then he wants the full lap deal with head rubs.
Any attempt to write or read a newspaper is futile. A cat will plonk itself on the paper and purr loudly, knowing that you are pleased to see them.
And of course, the best one - getting nicely settled on my lap just as I need to get up!

ann, spock and dracs will be film stars before you realize. cleo and coco have great timing. they wait until my hands are full before they 'demand' my attention. this morning, while i was changing the baby, cleo decided it was her turn! she actually lay down on the floor beside the baby (in the correct 'change my pants position'). oh those cats!

Lesley,
Unleashing video clips on an unsuspecting world is certainly making me keep my house a bit tidier! There was a high speed clearance of clutter on the table before I took the clip of both boys on it. I didn't realise I could still move that quickly!
If anyone comes to visit, they'll be able to settle right in, they'll be so familiar with my living room.

Rufus is really quite bad and incredibly creative when it comes to getting attention. Espcially, in the middle of the night. I like to keep a small vase of roses by my bed, and a few nights ago, when nothing seemed to work at 3 a.m. to get me up (so he can go out in the hallway of all things), he pushed the vase off the table so hard, it went flying across the room. Worked like a charm though. Usually, he just bangs on the bedroom door, or bangs the blinds against the wooden window frame...jumps all over me to get to get up, meows at the top of his lungs...starts a fight with Lucy...or goes all the way into the kitchen, as far away as possible, and does a really pityful meow...which always makes me laugh and voila! I am up at 1,2,3 in the morning... He's pushed the goldfish bowl off the table (because he couldn't get to the water), he'll push in front of me whenever I try to walk anywhere so he can be first, must be first...to make it brief, he's a handful! But my little angel...
