Hello, I am new to the board and am very much enjoying reading messages and looking at the photos. Your new kitten is so gorgeous, Linda! We have three cats. Oscar is our Oriental boy, his colour is defined as Chocolate Lynx- spotted here. He is the eldest at 5 years and largest of the three. Henry is our sealpoint Siamese boy who is so beautiful and our baby is Lily, a wee sealpoint girl who is the boss and doesn't stand any nonsense from The Brothers! They all sleep in a heap and groom each other. Life is never dull with these three cats. We also have a lovely old Labrador, Holly and forty sheep. I call Oscar our "sheep cat" as he loves prowling out in the fields shifting the sheep, or supervising from the yard rails. I will try posting photos some time. As well as caring for the animals I love reading (a longtime fan of Doreen Tovey) growing and showing daffodils, patchwork, computing. It is autumn here now, the tree colours are brilliant and we are gathering mushrooms. Regards to all, Denny.

Hi there Denny. It doesn't surprise me that Lily is the boss! Little girls tend to do that. I have 3 girls and 2 boys at present, until Tuli comes to live here! It's so nice to meet people from other countries. If you have a camera, let us see some pictures? Also, visit the bistro board if you haven't already done so. Ann is away visiting for a couple of days so you're all stuck with me!! Glad you like Tuli. I SAID I could pick kittens! Linda

Hello there Denny and welcome! It was lovely to read about Holly and your cats. I have three tabbies - their pictures are posted somewhere below. I hope we get to see some pictures of your 'family' - as well as some of your beautiful country.

Welcome Denny. Please share your beautiful country with us on our 'show us where you live' thread on page 3 of the general board, or create your own. We have a personal love of NZ after spending our honeymoon there in 1990.

Welcome to the Board Denny, I enjoyed reading about you, your cats and your sheep. (Do the sheep all have names too?!!)
We're collecting a lot of Doreen Tovey fans, so you're in good company. I know there are also some keen gardeners and handicrafters too.
If you have some pictures, please do post them. It sounds like you'll have something for each of the forums. If you need any help getting them online, we'll be happy to help.
Ann

Hello there, the sheep don't ALL have names, but there is Liebling, Black Spot, Marilyn (after Marilyn Monroe - she has the same lips Barbara (don't ask!) and their husband, Hercules, who is a very swashbuckling looking character. I will try and send some photos. Regards to all, Denny and the furry critters.

Welcome Denny! I love gardening and spend as much time as I can out in my garden doing a bit here and there. Handicrafts and computers I leave to people like Ann, although I enjoy seeing what's happening on Catsup and the Message Board when I'm visiting her.
I don't think I'll mention Oscar and the sheep to my cat Sally. It might start to give her ideas and she's got enough of those already.
