OK so I spend a week away on a narrowboat, cruising England's canals.... When I get back there are so many posts I can't read them all! We saw the room where Mary Queen of Scots was held prisoner before she ended up in the Tower of London, sat in the ruins of the old Coventry Cathedral, set on fire by German bombs in the last war. (I tried to climb to the top of the spire and got a bad attack of vertigo, but that's another story.) We visited the Lady Godiva exhibition, went round the British Museum of Road Transport.... and had a twelve hour dash home a day early because 2 of the cats were sick. Arriving home with 42 pictures, discover that Webphotos no longer allows cross posting. I'm sending Ann some pix to post on my behalf until I can catch up and sort out a new site. Linda

Mary Queen of Scots certainly got around. There's a house where she stayed in Jedburgh that I've been around.
Sounds like you had a good time during your week away. Welcome back! I'll look forward to seeing the pictures.

Linda,
You certainly seem to have had a great time....but all those wonderful sights are one thing. Look what you've been missing here! Next time you are away, be sure to pop into a library or internet cafe so you can keep in touch...lol.
I hope the cats are fully recovered now.
