Jen and I have just spent the weekend visiting our friends at the Cat Register and Rescue in Falkirk. I had strict instructions from the boys to give their adopted brother Anthony a brisk rub. So I did. Anthony lives with Rita (Princess Angelica) and Lisa (Chalmers Cats) Like all the Siamese I've ever known, he was in ecstasy. He enjoyed it so much, he even let me loose on his tummy. Then it was over to Jan's (Mucklette) to see all her orphans. Boran is looking as pretty as ever and was quite happy to pose. Her full story, and why she's special to me is on the Catsup website. Boran's special friend is Bob, a beautiful grey cat. In the first picture he's using Jen's shoulder as a convenient vantage point. Jen will probably hate me for putting this picture on the Board, but I thought it was a beauty.

What beautiful cats! (Mind you, I've never seen an ugly cat). I love Bob; he's a beauty. My Misty was grey. Linda

What wonderful photos Ann, The handsome Anthony looks like he is taking great pleasure in every minute of his tummy rub and Boran is such a lovely ginger cat. My father had a ginger cat with a white ruff by the name of Brandy. Looking at the photo I swear it was Brandy's twin. The last photo is absolutely awesome! Bob has that beatific look of utter bliss on his face, he seems to be in Seventh heaven! Jen apppears to be having a good time also and why not? Who wouldn't with all those gorgeous cats to take pleasure in!

Ann, you weren't far from me, as I live near Perth. The photos are great. Boran looks as though she was born to pose!

Donna,
On the Saturday, Rita, Jen and I went off to Doune, to an Antiques Centre just outside the town. We were actually on the road to Perth for a while!

Ann, the pictures are fantastic - as always! ;D I love the photo of Boran, she always takes a lovely photo. And Bob is as handsome as ever. He is the most kind natured cat in the world. So laid back. The photo of him and Jen is great! He has a big grin on his face! Anthony has been unbareable since you went away. Everytime you sit down in the living room, he is over to get a rub!! Screaming and shouting!! Your a bad influence on that cat Ann!!

I found this thread as I was working my way through the old posts, transferring the relevant ones to our new Board. There's a very happy update I can add to it.
When my friend Eileen came here to cat sit last year, she read this thread, took one look at Boran's picture and fell in love with her. Eileen lives in London and, as you all know, CRR is in Falkirk. Eileen and Jan talked and Eileen made a special trip to Falkirk to meet Boran. Since about April last year, Boran, who is now known as Tosca has been leading a pampered existance as an "only" cat with Eileen. Adopter and adoptee are both very happy. Adoptee is wrapping adopter around her feminine little paw!

What a beautiful thread -- thanks for letting us see, and for the brilliant update. Boran/Tosca looks like a real delight and I'm glad that she found such a great home, keeping her adopter firmly under the paw ;D
