My poor ittle Wose was spayed on Friday. She also had her teeth cleaned. Well, by 2pm today she still hadn't eaten. I have had 3 cats spayed but this is the first time I have encountered this, especially from the 'mouth on legs'. I took her to see James the vet at 2 this afternon, and Rosie had 2 more injections. Since then she has had a saucer of food. She's herself in other ways, purring and playing, but I can't help being worried.

It's always a worrying time when you have a cat spayed, even though it's such a very common operation. I hope Rosie continues her recovery and is soon back to being the mouth on legs that you know and love.
(Remember too that cats love to send you on massive guilt trips when they're feeling hard done by!)

aaahhh - hopefully she'll be back to her old self in a day or two...but Ann is correct - sometimes they play on your guilt..even if what was done was for their best....!

I've just shut my eyes and sent some healing vibes. Sleep young Rosie and heal thyself.

Perhaps the teeth cleaning made them tender enough that she doesn't feel like eating! We all hope she will be well soon.
