 This is Sam, taken about 2 months ago. As ive mentioned in a previous post, he has to get his coat cut in the summer time. He is about 15/16 yrs old so is not able to groom it now hes an old man, so it is easier for us to trim it. Well, the other day he had 3 large tufts in his mane so it all had to be trimed. He now looks like he has a polo neck jumper on (or turtle neck sweater for our american friends)! He is very good though, he sits still when your cutting the fur, the only time he starts to wriggle is when the electric shaver comes out! Since this picture was taken he has had 2 haircuts (including the poodle cut on his tail). |

Having seen Sam in the flesh, I can vouch for the fact that he's every bit as magnificent, not to mention majestic, as he appears in this picture.

Sam is beautiful! I'm not sure if he's looking a tad disgruntled with his new 'hairdo' though!! I think that black cats are so wonderful and mystic looking, with the way that their eyes peer out from the rest of them! What a splendid boy he is!
I have a longhair stray who is always getting tufts in his fur and I have to cut those out too. He always skulks off, looking like he's having a 'bad hair day' after I have been to work on him.
