I have joined the BSPCA since arriving in Bahrain and boy do they need as much help as they can get. They need £22,000 to build a new perimeter fence. A couple of weeks ago, someone scaled the barbed wire and took one of the dogs. They skinned it alive.
We certainly don't want that to happen again.
The dogs live in big enclosures together so they are happier to be together - no single segregation unless they are ill.
The cattery is lovely and they have quite big pens for each cat. The kittens of course go very quickly.
Their policy is not to put a good animal to sleep. They have around £0+ cats and 130+ dogs on board.
So if anyone knows of anybody with some spare cash the BSPCA in Bahrain desperately need their help.
