Wow! What wonderful places you all live in. I'd love to be by the beach, even if it's cold and windy. I live in Central London but I'm from Guernsey in the Channel Islands and I miss the sea. We visited Vancouver a couple of years ago and Vancouver Island is stunning! And I'd love to see Autumn in New Hampshire! I adore trees in Autumn. Trouble is if I visited I don't think I'd ever leave. Instead of pics of dreary old London here are a couple from back home in Guernsey taken last summer.

We have been doing some Family History and have relatives (way back) that lived in Guernsey in the Channel Islands.The pictures are beautiful.

It was in 1800's and the name we are doing History on is Warner who had married a Captain Bond's Daughter, Catherine.

Now that's interesting! One of our ancestors was a ships captain in the 1880's in Guernsey. His name was Captain Vivyan and he drowned after being shipwrecked in the channel.
